“PUBG Mobile Tournament 2020” is coming up with its second installment of their much-awaited tournament to be held in the last week of January 2020. The event will start with its preliminary selection rounds on Saturday, January 25, 2020, and will be held for two days before the Grand Final is hosted on Monday, January 27, 2020.

The tournament will be held in Chittagong, and the event type is an on-spot competition. Unlike the online tournaments of PUBG where the players sit back at home and participate, here the players will have to be physically present on the designated venue, which is Chittagong World Trade Centre, Agrabad. This year, “DDN – Digital Dot Net”, which is an affluent name in the market of providing IT service and solutions and internet service provider, will be sponsoring for the tournament.

To get an entry in the tournament, one has to have a squad of four players and register through an online form by paying BDT 200. However, as a sponsor’s discount, the DDN users will have to pay only half of the fee per team. Each team is allowed one substitute player, who will be an inclusion in the squad pool. The prize pool this time is set to be of BDT 20,000 currently, which is still in anticipation of increasing with the growing number of teams registered.

PUBG has made a good name worldwide with its hosting of tournaments with massive prize pools in each of them. In Bangladesh, PUBG tournaments are yet to get into fame but still follows the path of development. PUBG on-spot tournaments were also held in the science fair of Government Science College and HermaanGmeiner College Gaming Collision 2019, as an addition to their tournament series. The tournament community has not yet fallen shy with their facilities and organizing. Now, it is all a matter of wait to see what “PUBG Mobile Tournament 2020” has to bring.
